Our active substance Margosa extract is approved as product type 19 (repellents) in accordance with the EU biocide regulation No. 528/2012
(pdf.-file COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/2005 of 8 November 2017 ).

The decision regarding inclusion as a low toxicity substance (Annex I, category 6) is still outstanding; this is a separate procedure.

This marks the start of the time window for the licensing of your end products.

You have to submit a complete application for licensing of your biocidal products to the relevant licensing authority by

the end of March 2019

at the latest.

An exception applies if your product contains a further active substance that is still under examination at present and thus no date for a listing has yet been set. In this case, your obligation to register for a licence is guided by the last (slowest) substance.
