Margosa Extract, a Natural Repellent

Margosa extract (CAS No. 84696-25-3) refers to a natural product which does not contain any additional natural or synthetic components. The starting material for its production is the seed of the Indian neem tree, Azadirachta indica A. Juss.

Its main components are fatty acids, such as oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid and palmitic acid. These are present as glycerides or as free acids. Additional components include limonoids, such as nimbin, salannin and azadirachtin.

We guarantee that our margosa extract is free of aflatoxins in compliance with the German Ordinance on Maximum Mycotoxin Concentrations (MHmV), making it possible to use the extract not only in biocide products but also in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
